Hot Tub Starter Kit - Chlorine Spa Chemicals Starter Kit

The Professional Grade Hot Tub Chemicals Starter Kit is designed to address your everyday hot tub maintenance issues. This comprehensive kit provides you with the necessary tools to maintain the water balance and cleanliness of your spa.

Filling and Draining Instructions: Fill your spa or hot tub to the appropriate water level, ensuring the water reaches at least halfway up the top skimmer/filter opening. Test the pH and alkalinity levels using the included test strips at least weekly. The pH should be between 7.2 and 7.8, while the total alkalinity should be between 80 and 140 ppm. The water/calcium hardness should be within the range of 200 to 400 ppm. If the levels are not within the recommended ranges, make the necessary adjustments using the pH Increaser, pH Decreaser, Alkalinity Increaser, and Calcium Increaser. To prevent and remove mineral scale buildup, and to protect your spa components, use the Stain & Scale product. Add the Chlorinating Granules to quickly dissolve contaminants in your water. If your spa is not chlorine-compatible, consider our Bromine Spa Starter Kit.

Sanitizing: Maintain the recommended chlorine level at all times. The Aquadoc Chlorinating Granules should be used to maintain a free available chlorine (FAC) level of 3-5 ppm while the hot tub or spa is in use. Test the chlorine level regularly, especially before and after each use, and add Chlorinating Granules as needed to achieve the proper levels.

Weekly Maintenance: Test the water using the provided Test Strips and adjust the total alkalinity, pH levels, and calcium hardness using the pH Increaser, pH Decreaser, Alkalinity Increaser, and Calcium Increaser, respectively. Add Chlorinating Granules when necessary. Use the Water Clarifier to defend against cloudy water, the Spa Defoamer to eliminate foam, and the Chlorine-Free Shock after every use to quickly oxidize contaminants.

Important Reminders: Circulate your spa or hot tub water for at least a few minutes after adding any chemical and before introducing another product. Carefully follow the instructions on the container of each chemical in the kit to ensure maximum results and safety.
